Adobe Connect can work with only an HTML browser, but with a number of limitations. We strongly recommend using one of the Adobe Connect apps as they provide the best experience. Screen sharing, file sharing, drawing on a whiteboard, and using your webcam are not supported when accessing Adobe Connect with only a HTML browser. The following instructions are part of the Assist Me series for UITS IT Training online workshops andwebinars. The series is intended to answer questions you might haveduring an online event.
The materials and exercise files for IT Training online workshops are in the online classroom's Today's Files pod. Before you can use the exercise files, you will need to download the zipped file from the Today's Files pod, save it to your computer, and extract (or unzip) the individual exercise files.
Downloading the exercise files
To download the exercise files, in the Adobe Connect online classroom, do the following:
The title 'Exercise Files (ZIP)' is used in the online classroom to help users recognize the file. When you begin to download this file, you will see the original file name.

To save and view the exercise files in the
Downloads folder on your computer, follow the appropriate instructions below:
Internet Explorer
On January 12, 2016, Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer versions prior to version 11. UITS strongly recommends that you upgrade to a new operating system if your current system does not support Internet Explorer 11. If you experience difficulty with Internet Explorer, make sure compatibility mode is turned off.

Safari![]() Adobe Connect Download For Mac
In Safari, you will not see any prompts. When you download the zip file, it will automatically be saved to the
Downloads folder.
In Mac OS X, to view the zip file in the
Downloads folder, press option-command-L .

Extracting the exercise files to the desktop
Before you can use the exercise files in the workshop, you will need to extract them from the zip file to your desktop. Follow the appropriate instructions below:
Windows 8.x and 7
The
epclass folder containing the exercise files will appear on the desktop.
Mac OS X
On a Mac, zip files are referred to as compressed or archived files.
Adobe Connect Mac Os X Download Windows
When you extract the exercise files in Mac OS X, they will appear in the same location as the zip file. If you want the exercise files on your desktop, you will need to move the zip file to the desktop before unzipping it:
